Two experiments were conducted at farm-Ismailia Governorate- Egypt, during summer seasons of 2019 and 2020, cultivated with soybean, at farm Ismailia Governorate, Egypt. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of two treatments (potassium humate or compost tea) at different rates of (0, 2, 4 and 6 ml/L water) with two application methods (soaking and foliar application) on soil fertility and soybean productivity (Glycine max L.), c.v. Giza 111. In both seasons, each experiment was carried out in randomized complete blocks design with three replicates. The result showed that all treatments improve the nutrient status and soybean productivity than the control. Data showed that the lowest value of soil pH 7.87 was obtained in the soil treated with foliar application of compost tea at 6 ml/L compared with other treatments. Also, the used of potassium Humate or compost tea by foliar application was significantly decrease of soil salinity, while the soaking method had no significant effect in reducing soil salinity. The different rates of the soaking method gave a significant increase in the available soil contents of N and P, while the foliar application was no significant effect). As well as, available K in the treated soil at all rates showed a significant increase in the soaking treatment. The highest mean values of Fe, Mn and Zn contents appeared in soil treated with foliar application of compost tea. Compost tea soaking and foliar application increased soybean productivity. The highest values of all growth parameters plants i.e. (plant height (cm), No. of leaves/plant, No. of pods/plant, pods weight (g)/plant, seeds yield (ton/ha) and weight of 100 seed (g) were treated with potassium humate foliar application than all treatments.
