Achievements:

1- Scientific production:
Master's and doctoral theses and scientific research.

2-The projects that were established in the department and were completed in 2021:-

  • A research project entitled: Sustainable management at the field level to improve land and water productivity under salt-affected land conditions Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Aboul Fotouh Ayyad and others Sakha Research Station

  • A research project entitled: Integrated Management to Improve the Productivity of Oil Crops in Calcareous Lands, Prof. Dr. / Mohamed Esmat El-Fayoumi, Prof. Azza Rashad, Prof. Ahmed Khalil Amer, Prof. Dr. Kadria Mustafa El-Azab.

  • A research project entitled: Application of the pure nano-irrigation technology in the lands of the valley, the delta, as well as the light desert lands in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

3-Training courses:

- A total of 6 internal training courses were provided in the department and its branches in the stations.

  • The first is held in the department in Giza, in the Institute's lecture hall, entitled "Improving the quality and quality of agricultural land and its maintenance by achieving the highest productivity from the land and water unit."

  •  The second will be held at the Sakha Agricultural Research Station, entitled "Problems of lands affected by salt and how to manage them".

  •  The third will be held at the Sakha Agricultural Research Station, under the title "Sustainable Management in the Field of Improvement and Maintenance of Salt Affected Lands".

  •  The fourth will be held at the Agricultural Research Station of Baitay Al-Baroud, and its coordinator is Dr. Doaa Ahmed Al-Najjar.

  • The fifth will be held at the Agricultural Research Station in Gemmayzeh under the title "New Horizons in Land Improvement and Maintenance (1)".

  • The sixth will be held at the Agricultural Research Station in Gemmayzeh under the title "New Horizons in Land Improvement and Maintenance (2)".
